Dolce Vita Plan also removes the need for connections to larger online systems,
servers and databases. Enabling you to work locally, either alone or in small
groups, Dolce Vita Plan streamlines production of magazines and other magazine-like
publications, allowing you to enjoy ‘the good life’. Downloadable
from the Internet, Dolce Vita Plan is the first product from Van
Gennep’s new Dolce Vita Media Solutions product line. The product uses
functionality designed for Van Gennep’s PlanSystem3, a successful planning,
process and workflow management system for large publishing houses. Based on
PlanSystem3’s well-established technology, Dolce Vita Plan is already
enabling many users across Europe to enjoy time and money savings.
Edition Planning
Dolce Vita Plan offers an easy to use edition planning tool, for creating
and maintaining your edition plan/flat plan. The tool enables you to tailor
your plan based on signatures (numerals assigned to each section to show correct
sequencing), plan your pages and assign existing layouts.
In addition, Dolce Vita Plan offers you a graphic display of all your pages/elements
(for instance editorial, advertising, marketing) and real time space calculation.
You can also track the production progress through thumbnails of the pages
displayed, as they move through the production cycle.
