Jeroen Sonnemans, Director of Marketing at WoodWing comments, "PlanMaker is one of the best edition planning systems on the market. We are excited that Smart Connection Enterprise customers can now benefit from its time and money savings through PlanMaker fE." In addition to its availability for Smart Connection Enterprise, Van Gennep's PlanMaker module is also available as part of PlanSystem3™, Van Gennep’s own planning, process and editorial workflow management system. Van Gennep creates PlanSystem3 and FotoStation PRO connection Van Gennep has created a connection between PlanSystem3™ and FotoStation PRO, a digital asset management system from FotoWare, allowing users to develop and enhance images whilst providing comprehensive storage and easy access for publishers. The connection helps Van Gennep customers to further maximise their editorial workflows, offering significant time and money savings. Connecting the two systems enables users to select image files stored in FotoStation PRO and add them directly to a magazine's editorial workflow, via PlanSystem3. By turning the image into a PlanSystem3 metadata file, the file becomes part of a specific PlanSystem3 'job', allowing the editorial and layout teams to track and control further changes to the image through the editorial workflow. As part of the connection PlanSystem3 also automatically updates FotoStation PRO so images can be easily searched via the digital asset management system. Nanette Schoute, Van Gennep, Director – Product Management & Customer Operations comments, 'The Van Gennep team is committed to providing every customer with a comprehensive workflow system. We ensure that PlanSystem3 integrates well with a range of complimentary products, such as FotoStation PRO, to supply flexibility and customisation for publishers' workflows.'
