PlanSystem3's North American success leads to QuadSystems partnership

In the wake of tremendous success for North American sales of Van Gennep's planning, process and workflow management system, PlanSystem3™, Van Gennep has sold the exclusive North American distribution rights for the system to its distributor and partner for that region, QuadSystems, a division of Quad/Graphics.

Van Gennep appoints Otterbach as PlanSystem3 distributor
for Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Otto EngelhardVan Gennep has appointed the German prepress, IT and media agency, the Otterbach Group GmbH and Otterbach Medien KG, GmbH & Co., to distribute its planning and editorial workflow system, PlanSystem3™, in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

'PlanSystem3 provides a great opportunity for our customers,' states Otto Engelhard, Otterbach KG GmbH & Co, CEO, 'It automates key tasks and communicates core messages across the whole workflow from copy editing to design and layout. This is presented in an easy to use visual format, maximising the time and money saving benefits to publishers and production managers.'

Otterbach has a team of 130 specialised staff across its main companies and subsidiaries including, Otterbach IT GmbH, Otterbach Concept GmbH and Marfos GmbH. With nine sites throughout Germany, the company offers a responsive support service to its client base which includes Heinrich Bauer Verlag, Gruner and Jahr Verlag and Motorpresse.
