Van Gennep demonstrates PlanSystem3 plug-ins to Adobe® Creative Suite 2 InCopy® and InDesign® at The InDesign Conference, Amsterdam
Amsterdam, May 25th, 2005 – Van Gennep is providing live demonstrations of
PlanSystem3™ plug-ins to Adobe® Creative Suite 2 InDesign® and InCopy® for publishers at the InDesign Conference in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, May 25th -27th.
Visitors to the InDesign conference can learn how PlanSystem3, Van Gennep’s planning, process and workflow management system, enables publishers and users of InDesign and InCopy to streamline and speed-up magazine and catalog production and improve cross department communication, offering significant time and cost savings.

PlanSystem3 gives publishing staff an overview of the progress being made in editorial and layout departments, in real time. While InDesign and InCopy run as normal, PlanSystem3 plug-ins add a variety of communication and tracking tools to each page. PlanMaker, a page-planning module within PlanSystem3, offers a visual representation of the status of each page in the edition. These features help deadlines to be controlled more effectively and facilitate better communication across departments.
PlanSystem3 also adds automated, protected workflow stages to control each department’s input and speed-up production. Additionally, the system provides InCopy and InDesign users with Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL database availability and web connectivity to allow remote access to authorized users.
