Australia’s Leading Publishing House, ACP, Selects PlanSystem3 as “Best of Breed.”
After intensive trials of a variety of workflow systems, ACP selected Van Gennep’s PlanSystem3 as “best of breed.” PlanSystem3 is a unique system-wide planning, process and workflow management tool for publishers. As Australia’s leading publishing house, ACP recognizes the efficiencies that PlanSystem3 brings by integrating marketing, production, advertising and editorial departments through desktop applications. Developed by Amsterdam-based Van Gennep – M.A.C., PlanSystem3 provides publishers with process and workflow management, including real-time content/asset management, edition/product planning, status monitoring and element tracking of all files in the production process.
ACP is now undertaking a comprehensive Discovery and Publishing Process Analysis project in conjunction with Van Gennep. ACP, publisher of more than 65 titles and the largest InDesign® user in the world, expects to see increased flexibility, improved remote connectivity and enhanced issue planning due to PlanSystem3’s easy integration with InDesign and its ability to support a globally dispersed workforce with remote input, viewing and approvals capability. PlanSystem3 can easily handle the amount of complex information that ACP’s size requires and is extremely easy to use.
